I decided that I needed to have something for everyone at my house, which is why I brought in my buddies The Men of X.

They perform every Wednesday-Sunday at 8pm and tickets are just $34.95.

Hi friends! How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was filled with cold beer, hot wings, and my Hooters girls. I’m livin’ the good life at Hooters Casino Hotel!

One really cool thing about my house is the entertainment I have here. And no I’m not talking about the guests, although some of them can be very entertaining at times.

There are 4 different shows to choose from and some of them even have celebrities in them…

For example, does anyone recognize this guy?

That’s Geechy Guy from America’s Got Talent! He is world famous and the star of The Dirty Joke Show. The show performs nightly (dark on Fridays) and is guaranteed to make you laugh until it hurts.

Here’s another fun fact:

Did you know that Geechy Guy is in the Guinness Book of World Records for telling 676 jokes in 1 hour? He actually told more than that in the hour time frame, but only the ones that made the audience laugh counted.

Geechy and I hang out ALL the time, I guess you could say we are pretty good friends!

Behind the scenes of the 2012 Hooters Calendar Photoshoot

Being in the Hooters calendar is a BIG accomplishment around here so I promised my calendar girls I would do an entire blog post dedicated to them.

Lucky for you, I was there during the photoshoot so I can give you all of the behind the scenes details.

The day started off bright and early poolside. While the girls finished doing their hair and makeup, I tested out the camera.

Although I didn’t make the calendar this year…there’s always hope for 2013. ;-)

Today I just happened to get a special kind of fan mail...and it appears I have a new secret admirer. Since I tell my friends everything of course I will share the email with you...

"My name is Oliva Owling. I am a stranded Great White Owl from Alaska. I was inadvertently trapped in a cargo area of an Alaskan airliner and wound up here is Las Vegas. The airliner cargo door was open one night and detecting a shipment of small marmots, I decided to get an easy meal. Marmots are great snacks, but you don't have them here. Well, I sure didn't go hungry on the trip but this climate is outrageously hot compared to my native Alaska. Anyway, when they opened the cargo door I took off and flew out of the airport landing on a lamppost outside your building. That was a mistake - my talons nearly got burned to a crisp.

So, I flew around trying to keep cool and flew into an open loading door at the back of the casino. There was no humans around so I checked the place out and found a nice cool area and took a breather. Boy, does this place like owls - I'm loving it. I found where the kitchen was and although there is no decent live food, I'm doing fine. When does it get cool here? Last night I came across your business card and decided that I was lonely so here I am. Where are you? Lets get together and maybe have some fun. Today I am hosting my first ever question and answer blog post! It's no secret that I travel a lot and meet a ton of people. Everywhere I go and I am ALWAYS asked questions about Vegas or the Hooters Casino Hotel. So here's where I tell you all you need to know. Since you're friends with me, consider yourself a Vegas VIP. We roll in style....

Question 1: Eric Maypother asked: "Hi, I got my week in Vegas narrowed down from September 19th to Mid October, any special events at Hooters or anywhere those times I may want to catch? Besides eating at Hooters and gambling I'd like to go to some comedy shows, a Cabaret show, tour Hootie Dam and Lake Meade, also go to the Imperial Palace Car Museum :)"

Answer: Hi Eric! Can't wait to see you when you are in Vegas. I always have something fun going on at Hooters. I usually know about events a couple of weeks in advance so the best way to stay up to date is on our facebook page and website. I also have a new email newsletter in the works so make sure you are a member of my email club (you can sign up at the bottom of our main website). The newsletter will go out at the beginning of every month and let you know what to expect that month at Hooters Casino Hotel. Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. You have to check out the Dirty Joke Show with headlining comedian Geechy Guy. He won best comedian in Las Vegas this year. Show info is HERE. For a Cabaret show we recommend X Burlesque. Answer: Hi Patty! If there's one thing you need to do at Hooters Casino it's join the players club. There are SO many benefits to being a member of my club. Leavin' On A Jet Plane

Last week I got the opportunity to check another adventure off my bucket list. I gave my wings a break and got to fly through the sky in my very own fighter jet!

Think that's cool? I haven't even told you the best part. I also got to hang out with a few celebrities all day. I know what you're thinking, "pictures or it didn't happen" so here's the proof:

OWLizona Weekend

I just had the most relaxing weekend trip in ARIZONA or as I like to say...OWLizona.

I couldn't wait to get there and show my friends the new surfing moves I learned the last time I was in San Diego...

Only one problem....there were no waves in sight!

Nothing says OWLizona like a cactus or two...

This one was as tall as me!

After some fun in the sun we got ready to go to dinner and a baseball game. One of my favorite new restaurants is Cooperstown.

Some of you may have heard of it....

It's owned by Alice Cooper and the waiters even dress up to look like him. You know I jumped on the opportunity to dress up...did you expect anything less?

Next up...the ball game!

I tried to bring my new friend back to Hooters Casino Hotel with me....

But she loves OWLizona too much. I don't blame her!

The Glades

Wanna know what I love about today?

One of my favorite TV shows finally released it's first season on DVD.

If you haven't seen The Glades....you need to ASAP. The show is based in Florida (where I'm originally from) and the storyline always keeps me on the edge of my perch.

Bungalow Suite

Welcome to one of my favorite rooms at the place I call home. This is the Bungalow Suite and it's SWEET!

The room has a mini fridge:

And 2 TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom). They both play my favorite channel....

Hootie Dam

I'm not just traveling the world this summer, but also visiting some cool places in my hometown to show you everything Vegas has to offer.

This weekend I flew about 30 minutes east and ended up at the Hoover Dam. There's a new bridge over the dam that just opened so I decided to check that out first. Good thing I'm not afraid of heights...

Look at these desert rocks...It's very brown around here.

One of the coolest parts about the Hoover Dam is that it is in Nevada and Arizona. I stood in the middle and was WINGing in both states.

I got a little nervous when I ran into this dam sign.

I thought the dam police would be very strict, but they were cool about it. They even changed the name from the Hoover Dam to the "Hootie Dam" for the day.

One side of the Hootie Dam overlooks Lake Mead. I think I'm going to have to rent a boat the next time I go out there and do some wakeboarding and tubing.

If you ever go, you have to take the tour. It's so much fun!

After a fun filled day at the Hootie Dam it was back to the big city, bright lights and the fabulous Hooters Casino Hotel.

San Diego

If you guessed that I was in San Diego this weekend.....you were right!

My first stop was Hooters (of course) and here I am with one of my San Diego girls....

It was the perfect weekend filled with some fun in the sun!

I took some surf lessons...

Hung out on the beach....

Made some Fire Department friends....

Flew along the Pacific Coast Highway....

Visited the San Diego Zoo Safari Park....

And hung out on the pier....

That's when I started to get hungry and ran into a problem.

If no one was going to feed me, I knew I had to feed myself.

Apparently those signs are no joke. I ended up getting into a little bit of trouble....

But it was nothing I couldn't talk myself out of! After a fun long weekend I'm glad to be back home at the Hooters Casino Hotel. I've got some cool new things to show you in the next few days so make sure you come back and visit!

Neighborly Love- Nikki Beach Edition

Our neighbors at the Tropicana have a cool new addition to their backyard, so I had to go check it out.

The grand opening of Club Nikki/Nikki Beach is tomorrow night and the party doesn't stop all weekend. It's a White Party and once they saw me in my white t-shirt I was automatically added to the VIP list. Here's one of the rooms in the club where VIPs get to party.....

Here's another fun party section. I'd like a Purple Hooters on the rocks please...

Rumor is that there is a special "champagne angel" that flies throughout the club pouring drinks. They offered me the job since I already have wings, but I had to decline since I'm already the mascot for Hooters Casino.

California Knows How To Party

You voted on facebook where you wanted me to go this past weekend. The winner was Rio de Janeiro but since I JUST got back from Europe I decided to stay a little closer to home. 2nd place was Los Angeles, California so I hopped in my car and headed off to the wild wild west.

If you've ever driven from Las Vegas to California you know that there is some interesting stuff along the way. I made a few extra stops so you could see for yourself...

I always have to stop at Primm (Nevada/California state line) to ride the roller coaster....

Then I stopped to say hi to some of my alien friends. They gave me the nickname UFO (Unidentified Flying Owl) last time I visited and now I'm an honorary alien.....the title comes with a cool parking spot.

Here I am in front of the worlds tallest thermometer in Baker. Next time I'll have to take the picture when it's a little lighter out...I forget not everyone has night vision!

One of the best things about LA is the friends I have there. First thing Saturday morning we loaded up some dirtbikes and headed out to the track. Check out my orange bike...don't I look like a professionOWL?

After a morning of riding, some of my girls got word that I was in town so I went to visit. Aren't they a good lookin' bunch? I'm one lucky owl!

Saturday night was spent club hoppin' at some of the hottest clubs in LA. You can be anything you wanna be in LA and that night I was DJ Flyin' High....

We partied until the sun came up over Santa Monica Blvd.

There's no better way to spend a recovering Sunday than TitOWLS Tacos and beach time...

After a quick stop at Pink Berry I headed back to Vegas excited to tell all of my friends about my short weekend get away.

On day 2, I decided to check out Montserrat. What an adventure! After a quick subway ride I arrived ready to explore...

I tried to get the subway to take me to the top but the only words I know in Spanish are "Dos margaritas por favor" and "¿Donde esta el baño?" So I hiked instead...

Bonjour! It’s been almost 2 weeks since I got back from Paris and I’m still dreaming about the French baguettes, wine, cheese and adventures I had during my time there.

I decided I was going to disguise myself as a loc-owl (local) this time around. Check out my awesome hat…

I made a friend in the Luxenburg gardens.

We hit it off after he found out I was friends with his relatives at the MGM Grand Hotel in Vegas.

He gave me some insider tips about France and told me I couldn’t leave without seeing Notre Dame or DisneyLand Paris, so off I went!

Ever been to the Musee D’Orsay? It was REALLY cool!

After being away from Vegas for a week and a half, I started to get a little homesick. Luckily I spotted something that made me feel right at home…thanks Musee Du Louvre!

Last but not least here’s the Sacre Coeur.

During my time in Paris I stayed at the Hotel “WO” (Wilson-Opera). I felt right at home and spent a ton of time hanging out on the balcony. You don’t need to be an Owl to have a bird’s eye view!
