Orange You Glad Freebie Friday Is Back?

Hi Friends! Orange you glad Freebie Friday is back? I sure am! Well...except for the fact that they make ME pick the winners. I hate choosing favorites...you are all winners to me. But since I HAD to pick here are the top four (in no particular order):

Justin James: At the pirch next to HOOTIE I have a vision, I see myself standing with my best friends Mike and Chris next to an ORANGE craps table all with $1.50 BUDS in our hands. We have an abundance of chips infront worth lots of mONEY and I look very hungry.
LUCKY for me, I see the HOOTERS Restruant on the other side of the CASINO.
On the short walk to WINGS, I stop to play a Progressive Slot machine in hopes of a JACKPOT.
I didn't win my slot and walk to the greeter at Hooters and am greeted by HOOTERS GIRLS.
Their Warm SMILES let me see I am in VEGAS for a Bachelor Party.
It is time for 911 Wings POOLside with my Buds. How much more FUN could a guy ask for.

Flash back to March 2007
I was in Vegas for a conference
My nights were free
Saw Hooters in the distance from the Strip
Figured why not, give it a try
What did I find?
A beach-themed casino as soon as you enter
Played the slots for a while hoping for a jackpot
Some money did come out though, guess I was lucky after all
Time to eat - greeted by Hooters Girls in their orange shorts
Had clam chowder - mmmmm, not to mention service with a smile
Maybe I'll have the $1.50 Bud and wings next time
Time to go but I really didn't want to
My only regret? Not running into Hootie by the pool.
But I'll be back in 2012 for more Hooters Fun.

I wish I was in VEGAS at the HOOTERS CASINO winning the LUCKY JACKPOT so I will have lots of MONEY so I can buy WINGS and some ORANGE shorts so I can look like one of the beautiful HOOTERS GIRLS which would make my husband SMILE while he is lounging around the POOL drinking his $1.50 BUD, having fun with his friend HOOTIE.

My Long Distance Brother- Round 2

I'm not usually one to brag but....

Know what I love? Fan mail. There is nothing better than getting an email from my favorite people, Hooters fans!

Today I just happened to get a special kind of fan mail...and it appears I have a new secret admirer. Since I tell my friends everything of course I will share the email with you...

"My name is Oliva Owling. I am a stranded Great White Owl from Alaska. I was inadvertently trapped in a cargo area of an Alaskan airliner and wound up here is Las Vegas. The airliner cargo door was open one night and detecting a shipment of small marmots, I decided to get an easy meal. Marmots are great snacks, but you don't have them here. Well, I sure didn't go hungry on the trip but this climate is outrageously hot compared to my native Alaska. Anyway, when they opened the cargo door I took off and flew out of the airport landing on a lamppost outside your building. That was a mistake - my talons nearly got burned to a crisp.

So, I flew around trying to keep cool and flew into an open loading door at the back of the casino. There was no humans around so I checked the place out and found a nice cool area and took a breather. Boy, does this place like owls - I'm loving it. I found where the kitchen was and although there is no decent live food, I'm doing fine. When does it get cool here? Last night I came across your business card and decided that I was lonely so here I am. Where are you? Lets get together and maybe have some fun. Do you tackle coyotes or do we have to settle for rats and mice? Or, just hoot it up and scare the dickens out of a few drunks in the parking lot. E-mail me back to this address that I hacked into.

Q&A Hootie Style

Today I am hosting my first ever question and answer blog post! It's no secret that I travel a lot and meet a ton of people. Everywhere I go and I am ALWAYS asked questions about Vegas or the Hooters Casino Hotel. So here's where I tell you all you need to know. Since you're friends with me, consider yourself a Vegas VIP. We roll in style....

Question 1: Eric Maypother asked: "Hi, I got my week in Vegas narrowed down from September 19th to Mid October, any special events at Hooters or anywhere those times I may want to catch? Besides eating at Hooters and gambling I'd like to go to some comedy shows, a Cabaret show, tour Hootie Dam and Lake Meade, also go to the Imperial Palace Car Museum :)"

Answer:  Hi Eric! Can't wait to see you when you are in Vegas. I always have something fun going on at Hooters. I usually know about events a couple of weeks in advance so the best way to stay up to date is on our facebook page and website. I also have a new email newsletter in the works so make sure you are a member of my email club (you can sign up at the bottom of our main website). The newsletter will go out at the beginning of every month and let you know what to expect that month at Hooters Casino Hotel. Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. You have to check out the Dirty Joke Show with headlining comedian Geechy Guy. He won best comedian in Las Vegas this year. Show info is HERE. For a Cabaret show we recommend X Burlesque. You can find out more info HERE. The Hootie Dam and Lake Mead are a must see. They are about 45 minutes away.

Answer: Hi Zachary! I must say our suites are pretty sweeeet! You can find booking info HERE. As far as gaming and comps go you can talk to a casino host about that. I pay them to know all of that information ;-) You can get in contact with them HERE.  


Question 3: Patty Wassmuth-Hamm asked: "What perks will I get if I join your player's club? I'll be staying there in your hotel Aug 2-5."


Answer: Hi Patty! If there's one thing you need to do at Hooters Casino it's join the players club. There are SO many benefits to being a member of my club. First of all you get $200 free promotional slot play right when you sign up. Then with the card you are eligible for on property promotions (25 cent wings from midnight-6am is just one example). I also send you hotel and casino offers every month along with a birthday email on your birthday. It's free to join so there really is no reason you wouldn't want to!

Answer: Free: Free coffee every morning (or whenever) once you purchase a Hooters coffee mug. On Wednesdays you can get 10 free wings if you know the secret facebook word. A new word is posted each week. If you like us on facebook and show someone in Splurge or the Bait Shoppe you get a Hooters sticker. Once you sign up for the Owl Rewards club you get $200 free promotional slot play. Any room packages this year that will blow his hair back? I brought him out for his 21st Birthday last year. He stayed at Hooters. I stayed at our timeshare. I think it was better that way, if you know what I mean! :)"

Answer: First of all CONGRATS on your wedding. You are a smart couple for spending your honeymoon in Vegas. Hotel packages for November are currently in the works but now that I know you are coming, I will have my people keep you in mind and do something special.
